I Started Out As A Child

I often refer to this album as the one that started it all. It wasn't my first foray into comedy, but it was one of the very first that I bought. I was living in Colorado at the time and used to love scrounging through thrift stores (I still do, but rarely take the time). I found this one day for $2. I probably bought it more for the orange vinyl than the content. I also picked up George Carlin's Occupation Foole.
I got home and put it on my turntable. I was laughing so hard I couldn't breathe. This album isn't a deep thinker. It's not political at all. Cosby completely ignores any of the social issues of the day and delivers a "nice" album. I don't lose respiratory abilities anymore listening to it, but it's still a finely crafted piece of art.

Check out my growing list of Comedy LPs

Greetings

Hello there! I'm going to start cataloging my comedy LPs. I've been collecting for a number of years and thought I'd share what I've gathered. If you have any favorites, let me know! I've probably got them somewhere. If not, I might need to track it down.

Besides comedy, I've also got a collection of children's and just plain odd albums. I'll be adding some of those in as well eventually.

In the meantime you can check out my growing list of Comedy LPs!
